Review

I reviewed the first book in the Mortiswood series a while back and loved it. I’m pleased to say that I loved the second one even more. Kaelia Falling is even more action packed than its predecessor and has some awesome character development along the way. The blend of magic with the real world is truly sublime; Gina managed this successfully in book one and it happily continues in book two. I can really relate to Kaelia, the struggles that she has seem very real although she has supernatural forces to contend with. I love that she’s still adjusting to her new position in life and it’s something that struck a chord within me. Gina once again manages to create an immersive novel for readers to lose themselves in, along with characters you can fully invest in. I loved it!
